I am an Entrepreneur
When I was 10 I wanted to be a writer, traveller, and voice for suffering communities.
I work as an Executive Director in Education & Tech
I am proud of of building Kids Code Jeunesse, a not for profit that teaches Canadian children code and computational thinking in the schools. It is very rewarding to see school systems starting to embrace the importance of computer science in children’s learning.
The biggest obstacle I have faced was staying true to my core beliefs, including being kind, supportive and nurturing with others, even though the business world often sees these as weaknesses.
My advice to women is Don’t change who you are to fit an industry. Change the industry to accept you for who you are.
